Tax Authority Uncovers Illegal Network In Hungary
The tax authority NAV has uncovered an illegal network throughout Hungary, in which hundreds of companies employed more than 10,000 people without paying social insurance contributions on their wages. “One of the biggest operations in the history of Hungarian crime has been shut down”, the NAV declared on Wednesday.

The gang engaged in industrial-scale tax fraud, engaging staff in security, cleaning and forwarding activities without paying social insurance contributions, costing the state billions of forints in lost revenue.
