A Night Out Of Eclectic Fun In Budapest
- 3 Oct 2013 9:00 AM
Shortly into my semester long stay in Budapest I discovered, via word of mouth, about Club Instant. With its many rooms, exciting music, plethora of bars, loud decorations, and wide variety of those just passing through Instant leaves little left to be desired.
When first entering Club Instant you are presented with stairs leading to the second floor, equipped with both bars and dance floors, or a more communal area straight ahead filled with tables and chairs allowing for more conversational encounters. If you’re looking for talkative social hour it is important to come during earlier, mainly any time before midnight.
The club is not nearly as loud or packed during these times, allowing for a more easy-going experience. If you’re more of a dancer the best time to arrive is after midnight. Then you’ll find crowded dance floors radiating with the newest and most exciting music from the many DJs. If one dance floor doesn’t suit you, don’t be discouraged, there are plenty of other options. With all the dancing you are sure to work up a sweat so do yourself a favor and don’t attend the club in layers of clothing.
When it comes to décor, Club Instant has all the bases covered. The main floor is lighted with many vibrant colors that radiate throughout the two floors. Also exhibited on the main floor is an overhang of rabbits, yes rabbits will great you after entering the club. In one of the many dance floor rooms there is an unusual spin on the beloved disco ball. A pig replaces its common spherical shape which is sure to be an attention getter. Each dance floor has lighting that matches its décor, some brighter and calmer while other rooms are darker and chaotic.
While inside the club you are more than promised bumping into people with origins from all around the world. With the constant flow of people there are many chances to swap stories and get to know people from near and far, as a newcomer to the city you may even find someone who is just as far from home as you are. This all adds to the culturally eclectic experience of the club. Without a doubt you are emerged into an atmosphere of excitement, from all around the globe.
Reasonably priced drinks round off this enticing experience. A simple cup of Dreher beer will cost you around 450 forints, but if beer isn’t your style there are a plethora of mixed drinks to suit any persona. With a bar never at too far of a distance, where ever you are in the club you are easily within reach of a refill. If you’re looking for something to write home about, be sure to schedule a stop at Club Instant during your stay in Budapest.
