Major Water Summit In Budapest Next Week

More than 100 countries and international organisations will attend the October 8-11 Budapest Water Summit, Foreign Minister János Martonyi announced as he addressed the UN General Assembly in New York on Monday. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon will open the meeting, along with host President János Áder.
The summit is expected to approve proposals related to UN development goals for the period beyond 2015.
