Hungary’s PM Orbán Discuses US Surveillance
- 13 Nov 2013 8:00 AM
Schiffer told HírTV that he has no illusions about whether a proposed parliamentary investigative commission could gain access to an adequate amount of data, but the matter is only partly a national security issue, as it is also a moral question.
Orbán later received Socialist president Attila Mesterházy, who said he supports the idea of a non-public investigative commission as initiated by Fidesz.
Orbán is also slated to discuss the eavesdropping issue with Jobbik president Gábor Vona on Wednesday.
