Hungary's Gov’t To Open Election Office In London
- 27 Feb 2014 10:35 AM
The National Election Office will rent an office in Millbank Tower, central London, to cater to the demands of the estimated 100,000 eligible Hungarian voters in Great Britain. Consul general László Nagy Riskó told Népszabadság on Wednesday that the embassy will do its best to ensure that Hungarian expatriates can vote safely and comfortably.
The office will rent the 650 square metre River Room and Paint Gallery to avoid a repeat of scenes of four years ago when a long line of voters queued up outside the embassy.
