The government has launched a 6.9 billion forint (EUR 22m) programme that aims to help young people start businesses of their own. About 2 billion forints will go toward training the programme’s participants in the first half of the year, Sándor Czomba, the state secretary for employment, said.
In the second half, participants will draft business plans and will be eligible for grants of either 3 million or six million forints, adding up to a combined 5 billion forints. 2,130 participants have already started the training part of the programme and 1,100 would start within days.
