Five New Items Have Been Added To The Hungaricum Collection
After the Hungaricum Committee meeting on Tuesday March 18th, five new products were added to the Hungaricum list ('the complimation of the national treasures): Count István Széchenyi’s intellectual legacy, the Zsolnay porcelain and ceramics, the 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra, Gundel Károly’s heritage the Gundel Restaurant, and the famous Pick salami.

Besides adding more unique and outstanding products to the Hungaricum Collection, the Hungarian Value Repository repertoire has also been broadened by the addition of Hungarian wattle honey, Ajka crystal, Hövej lace, and the Széchényi linden tree alley between Nagycenk and Kiscenk settlements.

Sándor Fazekas, Minister of Rural Development and Chairman of the Hungaricum Committee, emphasized the importance and high value of the new ‘members’ that are all well-known outside of Hungary as well. With the five new products, the number of Hungarian specialties has increased to 34.
