Schiffer said after a meeting in Balatonalmádi (W) on Tuesday that LMP plans to provide a “consistent and tough” control over the government’s two-thirds majority power.

Schiffer said he would be a member of the “supercommittee for legislature” and his deputy will be Bernadett Szél, who is nominated for membership in the national security committee.

Other nominations include Benedek Róbert Sallai for the head of the committee on sustainable development, István Ikotity for the cultural committee, “which is really for education”, and Erzsébet Schmuck for parliamentary notary and deputy chair of the budget committee, he said.
