Room In Europe An Parliament To Be Named After Former Hungarian PM Gyula Horn

A room will be named after former Hungarian Prime Minister Gyula Horn in the European Parliament. Hungarian Socialist Party’s European Parliamentary Delegation, Csaba Tabajdi, said that EP leaders had made a fair decision on their Monday meeting, despite the rightwing majority in the EP.
Horn has unquestionably played a historic role in the re-unification of Germany and Hungary’s European Union accession, he added. Hungary’s Christian Democrat MEP László Surján and the radical nationalist Jobbik party earlier opposed the Socialist initiative to name a room in the European Parliament after Horn.
