Ethnic Hungarian Filmmakers To Meet In Budapest
Seventeen Hungarian film ar tists from across the Carpathian Basin are scheduled to meet in Budapest on Tuesday and Wednesday to get acquainted with one another’s works and the outlines of a new system of funding films. The main goal of the conference is to allow Hungarian cinematographers living in Transylvania, Slovakia, Transcarpathia or Vojvodina to jointly formulate their proposals for a funding system supporting the work of filmmakers in neighbouring countries. Twentyfive of their films will be shown in the Uránia cinema.
