Two Fifths Of Hungarians Interested In Sunday Ballot

Two-fifths of Hungarians are interested in the European parliamentary elections that will take place in Hungary on May 25, the latest Ipsos survey released on Thursday said. According to the survey conducted in 12 countries, interest in the elections in Europe is moderate.
People in Poland, France and the Italy show a somewhat greater interest than people in Hungary, said Ipsos, indicating 48%, 47% and 46% for these three countries, respectively.
The least interested were people in the Netherlands (20%), it said.
Asked about Hungary’s 10-year membership in the EU, 55% of respondents said it had brought benefits for the country, while about 33% said the opposite, the survey said.
