Zsolt Semjén, 52, theologian and sociologist, Christian Democrat since 1990, party leader since 2003. Minister without portfolio and deputy PM in the 2nd Orbán government.
János Lázár, 39, trained as a lawyer, mayor of Hódmezővásárhely between 2002-2010, Fidesz lawmaker since 2002. State secretary at the PM’s office from 2012.
Sándor Pintér, 65, (not an MP), trained as a lawyer and mechanical engineer. National police chief between 1991- 1996, retired in 1996. Interior minister in the first and second Orbán cabinets.
Tibor Navracsics, 47, trained as a lawyer and political scientist. Department head at the PM’s office between 1998-2002. Deputy PM and minister of public administration and justice in the second Orbán cabinet.
Csaba Hende, 54, trained as a lawyer, political state secretary in the justice ministry between 1998 and 2002, Orbán’s cabinet head in 2002. Joined Fidesz in 2004.
László Trócsányi - in Hungarian- (not an MP), 58, trained as a lawyer, diplomat, served as Hungary’s ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Served on the bench of the Constitutional Court in 2007-2010.
Mihály Varga, 49, trained as an economist, member of Fidesz since 1988, served as minister of finance between 2001-2002 and economy minister in Orbán’s second term.
Zoltán Balog, 56, Reformed Church pastor, expert on religion for Fidesz since 1991. Human resources minister in the second Orbán government in 2012.
Sándor Fazekas, 51, trained as a lawyer, joined Fidesz in 1989. He served as the party’s county group leader between 2002 and 2006. Former rural development minister.
Miklós Seszták, 45, trained as a lawyer, Christian Democrat, head of the economic committee at Szabolcs- Szatmár-Bereg county since 2010.
