New Hungarian Insurance Product Monitors Car Use
Insurer Posta Biztosító, car owners association Magyar Autóklub and online insurance brokerage Netrisk have jointly launched a new product on Thursday, offering car surveillance to drivers via their mobile phones.

The devices mounted in the car can also report the technical status of the car to the Magyar Autóklub, when help is sought.

The new product, developed by Vemoco Telematics, also allows a pay-as-you-go form of insurance product, in which those who travel less pay less insurance.

Sales of the product began simultaneously in 30 countries, including Hungary, Vemoco CEO György Gombár pointed out.
