Street Party Near Várkert Bazár In Budapest On Friday, 29 August

Budapest’s First District will stage a street party, concerts and family entertainment on Friday to celebrate the opening of the renovated Lánchíd utca. Lánchíd utca will be open only to pedestrians until September 15, when cars will be once gain permitted.
The party will be held near the Várkert bazár, where a new pier has been built, capable of handling small ship traffic.
The district will provide a free ferry service from Petőfi tér in Pest to the new harbour from 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
