Kecel Mayor Expelled From Fidesz In Hungary
Fidesz has expelled Kecel mayor Ferenc Haszilló for racist remarks heard on a sound recording made public last month. Following his re-election on October 12, Haszilló will not resign but will stay on as an independent politician.

In the sound recording Haszilló said the Fidesz two-thirds majority ought to restore capital punishment and that five or six people should be shot in the head for high treason.

He also said Jobbik is right about many things and that 75% of Fidesz members should be expelled.
