Putin Schedules Five-Hour Budapest Visit

At 3 p.m., Putin will be driven to the Soviet military plot of the Fiumei út cemetery where he will lay a wreath in the presence of Russian journalists only.
Some 140,000-220,000 Russian soldiers were killed in action on Hungarian territory in 1944-45, of whom 7,280 are buried on a 1.5-hectare area in the cemetery.
Putin will sign agreements with Viktor Orbán in Parliament at 4:45 ahead of a joint press briefing at 5 p.m.
He will then meet President János Áder at 6.30 p.m. at the Sándor Palace.
