Hungarian Cabinet To Take Legal Action Against FT

The cabinet will sue the Financial Times if the British business daily does not print a correction to its article of last week regarding EU objections to Hungary’s deal with Russia on expanding the Paks nuclear plant, spokesman Zoltán Kovács confirmed on Tuesday.
The newspaper reported last Thursday that the EU had blocked the €12 billion deal after the European Commission objected to the contract on the grounds that Russia would be the exclusive supplier of fuel for the Paks facility.
EU officials confirmed that fuel supply was a problem, but said that would not scupper the entire contract.
