Xpat Review: Costes Restaurant Budapest
With its top gastronomy and wine specialties, the first ever Michelin star restaurant in Budapest, Costes is quite conveniently located just off Kálvin square. Certainly you'll find one the highest standards of fine dining here under the capable hands of the Portuguese chef, Miguel Rocha Vieira.

The elegant and stylish ambience, together with the excellent food and an outstanding selection of wines makes for an amazing taste experience.

The dishes are little treasures, each and every one of them. My friend and I chose the five-meal menu, which actually turned into seven or more given the small extra tastes we were given. They just kept coming, as did the different wines, selected to really perfectly fit each of the courses.

Even with the Michelin star the service is warm, friendly and cheerful, no stiff upper lip here, just style mixed with low key, cool ambience. This is a taste of Paris, where we live, which is known as the Paris of the East.
