Hungary Moves Forward With Paks Plan
Government commissioner Attila Aszódi is heading a delegation to Vienna to discuss with the International Atomic Energy Agency the expansion of Hungary’s Paks nuclear power plant. Aszódi told state news agency MTI that the Agency can assist with expertise and the examination of questions relating to infrastructure, plant operations and safety.

In a related development, Austrian ambassador Ralph Scheide told Magyar Hírlap Wednesday that his country, just as in the past, will participate in conducting an environmental impact study before the expansion at Paks begins.
