'Spy' Star Melissa McCarthy & Director Paul Feig Big-Up Budapest
At long last the Hungarian capital is playing 'itself' in a spy film, Hollywood star Melissa McCarthy and top director Paul Feig explain in a clip below. The movie, which will hit cinemas soon, is the third film listed by Mr. Feig and Ms. McCarthy, after the pair won hearts with the comedies 'Bridesmaids and 'The Heat. In a recently published film teaser, they recall their experiences of shooting in Budapest, and their opinions couldn't be more positive.

The actress said that she has never seen as extraordinary places as the system of cellars lying beneath Buda Castle or the Kelenföld thermal power station, but also praised the vintage buildings of downtown Budapest.

As the film’s director Mr. Feig explains, the script was adapted to feature Budapest as the story’s location instead of Paris and Rome after he fell in love with the Hungarian capital.
