Weekend Heat Warning Issued By Hungarian Health Authority

Hungary’s health authority (ANTSZ) has issued the highest-degree heat alert for midnight on Friday to 4pm on Monday, the authority told MTI. In the next few days daily maximum temperatures will surge to around 38-39 C, the National Weather Service said. Daily average temperatures will reach 28 and 30 C.
Temperatures are not expected to drop below 20 C. in big cities.
Heat will be most intense in western and central areas. Some parts of the country may see showers, however.
A front on Monday will cool the air by 2-3 C.
