Cogwheel Could Go To Széll Kálmán Tér In Budapest
The 12th District council and the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) agreed on Monday to upgrade and extend the cogwheel rail line from its current terminus at the Szent János hospital to Széll Kálmán tér. BKK strategy and innovation director Zoltán Nyúl said plans are being drawn up to extend the cogwheel line, which carries passengers up to the hills of Buda, to Széll Kálmán tér beginning in 2017 and ending in 2018.

He said the upper end of the line will be extended to Széchenyi-hegy.
