The public consultation which is part of the environmental licensing of the Paks nuclear power station’s planned expansion has been completed and the licence is expected to be issued in two months. The project’s implementation licence is expected to be received by the end of 2017 and construction could be started in 2018, government commissioner Attila Aszódi said said. A total of 6,000 licences need to be acquired for the expansion project, he added.
