Prison Opens Food Supply Unit
Prison inmates are growing and preparing food consumed within the prison system, Magyar Idõk reports. The prisons are not dependent on outside suppliers for food, an important step towards self-sufficiency, said national prisons chief András Csóti.

The Budapest Prison in the Tenth District has just opened a kitchen to prepare meals for several penitentiaries in the city.

The 1,250m2 facility provides work for 50 prisoners.
