Two Suspects Apprehended In Murder Of Israeli National In Hungary
Two suspects were arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of Ofer Gross, an Israeli backpacker and medical engineering graduate who went missing in Hungary over a week ago, online news portal Hamodia.com reported.

The two male suspects in custody are aged 21 and 19. Details regarding the motive behind the murder have not yet been made public, however, evidence points to murder as opposed to death by accident or natural causes, according to reports.

Israeli authorities have notified Grossʼ family, who identified the body after traveling to Hungary from Israel, Hamodia.com reported.

Gross set off backpacking from Berlin and told his family that he would be staying with an acquaintance in the Hungarian town Tiszakécske, after which his family lost contact with him. Gross’ family had been in touch with Hungarian police and the foreign ministry a few days earlier after not receiving word from him for several days, Hamodia.com added.
