Lázár Warns Hungarians In France About Security Risks
The risk of a terrorist attack in France during the Euro Football Championships has grown, Hungary’s Cabinet Chief János Lázár said today, warning Hungarian football fans in France to keep to the required security measures there, according to reports.

“The championship is not over, and there are security risks … the situation has not gotten better, but the situation has worsened in the past 48 hours. Therefore elevated attention is needed,” Lázár said during his regular weekly press conference today, according to Hungarian online daily hvg.hu.

Lázár asked Hungarians in France to take seriously the security regulations of the local authorities. He also urged Hungarians in France to register on the website of Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (KKM). KKM created an online interface for Hungarians traveling for the football event, as an emergency measure.
