March 15 Holiday in Hungary: Free Programmes at National Museum
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will give a speech in the National Museum's garden on March 15, the national holiday commemorating Hungary's 1848/49 revolution and freedom fight, the Government Information Centre (KTK) said.

On this day, several free programmes will await visitors in the museum's garden from 2pm until 6pm. On Sunday, programmes will continue from 10am until 6pm.

16:00 – Presentation of the Kossuth and Széchenyi Awards at the Parliament

March 15

09:00 – Ceremonial hoisting of Hungary’s flag at Kossuth Lajos Square
09:30 – Festive Hussar Parade to the National Museum
10:30 – Ceremonial event at the Museum Garden, speech by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán
10:00 - 18:00 – Open Parliament (free visit)
