One-Third Of Hungarian Businesses Late Paying Invoices
About 32.9% of Hungarian businesses were late paying invoices in the first half, down from 33.2% in the same period a year earlier, data compiled by Bisnode Magyarorszag show.

The proportion was down from 36.1% in H1 2014. Bisnode noted that the payment deadlines for invoices averaged 28 days in H1, almost two days more than in the same periods in 2014 and 2015.

Companies in Somogy County, in the west of the country, paid their overdue invoices the fastest, in ten days on average.

The slowest late-payers were in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in the northeast, where business partners had to wait more than 30 days past the deadline on the invoice to get their money.
