Áder Arrives In New York For UN General Assembly

Hungarian President János Áder has arrived in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly session and a meeting of the Highlevel Panel on Water. Áder was present at the signing of the Paris climate agreement this spring, and will attend a meeting organised by the UN Secretary General focusing on the climate agreement.
The participants will discuss ways to encourage speeding up the ratification process. Áder is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma. Áder’s schedule also includes meetings with World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
