The International Wine Festival Budapest is the highlight of the year for wine lovers and is a great opportunity to taste award-winning Hungarian wines, with 5000 different kinds, and this year the best of Italian wines and gastronomy. From just one visit, you can see and feel why this is such a popular event, many people returns time and time again, year after year. You can learn about the history of local wines and wine growing and meet renowned wine makers. Besides local wines – around 200 wineries from all parts of Hungary – several foreign wine distributors also exhibited their products.

Even if you are not a wine lover, there is something for everyone: a gastro promenade offering quality street food and culinary specialties, and you can of course eat traditional Hungarian food like sausage and goulash soup. There are also concerts, cultural programs and activities for children. Overall a wonderful atmosphere, set within this beautiful historical setting. And the gorgeous weather added the final touch this year.
