Kopint-Tárki Lowers Inflation Forecast

Think-tank Kopint-Tárki has lowered its projection for annual average inflation this year to 2.3% from 2.7% forecast in April. Its expectation for economic growth this year was unchanged at 3.7%, but next year growth is forecast at 3.5% as opposed to the April projection of 3.2%.
The government targets growth of 4.1% this year and 4.3% in 2018. Investment growth is expected to reach 17% this year before slowing to 7% next year, the think-tank said.
Export growth is projected at 8% for both 2017 and 2018, while imports are set to climb 9.2% this year and 9% next year, it added.
