In traditional folk life, this period was full of superstitious and religious rituals like the Saint Nicholas Day mummering, the unique Saint Lucia's Day carolling traditions, various fertility rights, the construction of "Lucia chairs”, keeping a lookout for witches and carrying crèches to greet the newborn Jesus.

The programme will present all of these in a fun format, with lots of music and singing.
