Toy Sales in Hungary Get an Easter Boost
Families with young children are planning to spend Ft 5,000-10,000 on average on toys in the Easter holiday period, according to a survey by toy retailer Regio Játékkereskedelmi.

The poll found that 69% of parents planned to buy toys for the holiday, with only sweets proving more popular, cited by 81% of respondents.

Lego sets and creative toys topped the list, accounting for 40% of planned purchases, followed by board games, stuffed animals and colouring books.

Outdoor products are also in high demand as Easter marks a seasonal turning point in the sales of garden toys and sports equipment, the retailer said.

The results are based on responses from 3,000 parents with children under 14.
