Public Transport In Budapest Running Less Frequently
Budapest public transport is operating on a 'holiday schedule' from March 19. As schools are closed, there will be 10% fewer BKV vehicles during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

A 35% drop in passengers is predicted due to student absenteeism alone.

Home office work ordered by many companies in the city has also contributed to the decline in passenger volume.
