Gyula Spa To Be Renovated For HUF 3 Billion
The government will spend Ft 2.9 billion to expand the capacity and upgrade the services of the Gyulai Várfürdő, CEO of the bathing facility Miklós Kun told journalists on Wednesday

.The spa is contributing Ft 280 million from its own resources to the project due to be completed by the end of 2023.

The area for children will be doubled, targeting a major visitors’ group.

The surface of thermal pools will also be expanded, and a medical wellness centre will be installed in the main building.

As a result, the spa will be able to host guests all year round, solving a seasonality problem, Kun added.

The project contributes to maintaining the spa as a key factor in attracting tourists, said mayor Ernő Görgényi.
