Nearly six years on, Hungary's hospitality sector is still smaller than before Covid, with far fewer catering establishments operating nationwide.
The Hungarian family-run beverage company Carly's has achieved a major milestone in the international drinks sector, securing a top prize for the second year running at one of the global beverage industry's most respected competitions.
Since 2010, the number of commercial catering venues has fallen by more than 14,000, leaving 35,109 active establishments by the end of last year.
