Severe Weather Warning Issued For Today

The National Meteorological Service warns of heavy thunderstorms and extreme heat. Some counties have been issued the highest, third-degree alert.
The Meteorological Service annaounced that thunderstorms may occur mainly in the Western part of Transdanubia until noon, then thunderstorms and heavy thunderstorms may occur in the middle of the country from late afternoon. The thunderstorms are moving from South to North.
The most intense thunderstorms can be accompanied by wind gusts of up to 60-80 km / h and hail (> 2-3 cm) is also expected.
At night, there may be additional thunderstorms in the Eastern part of the country.
A warning was issued to all counties: the Eastern counties have the highest, third-degree alert due to the heat over 27 degrees.
