More Soldiers Assigned to Help Out at Hospitals
The Hungarian Armed Forces is assigning more soldiers to help out staff at Hungary’s hospitals during the prolonged national vaccination campaign, the defence ministry said on Monday.

More than 60 additional soldiers are being assigned to hospitals and health-care institutions to assist the Covid response efforts and take the burden off health-care staff, the ministry said in a statement.

This means there are now some 870 soldiers supporting the health-care system at 95 locations, it said.

The soldiers assigned to the hospitals help out with logistical tasks, temperature screenings, directing patients to the right place as well as with administrative and transportation tasks.
