French Man Wanted for Homicide Arrested in Hungary
The Budapest municipal court has ordered the arrest of a 27-year-old French citizen wanted by the Paris prosecutor’s office under a European warrant for homicide, the court said on Friday.

Police said on Wednesday that the man had a military background and was planning to travel to Ukraine to fight in the war there.

The man is wanted by the French authorities for homicide committed with a firearm.

The Hungarian authorities have arranged for his transfer under a simplified procedure.

The French authorities have until April 4 to collect him.
