Two downtown stops of the revamped Budapest metro line 3 were inaugurated on Monday, with the southern arm of the line fully operational from Kőbánya-Kispest to Deák Ferenc Square from later in the day.

Regional development minister Tibor Navracsics said at the inauguration that the government and the Budapest municipality should “move past policy disagreements in strategic, medium-term and long-term plans”.
