“Shoot Orbán!”: Anti-PM Graffiti Suspect Hunted by Budapest Police
A graffiti artist who scrawled “Shoot Orbán!” in protest against the Hungarian PM is currently in hiding after police discovered his handiwork at a prominent spot in downtown Budapest.

Police officers sealed off the site, on the Pest embankment near Vigadó tér, a busy hub for the number 2 tram and sightseeing boats up the Danube. A HVG readers shared a photo with the news outlet depicting police officers investigating the crime scene.

Of note, one of the three Hungarian words was grammatically incorrect (the perpetrator should have used only one “j” instead of two) - so some say maybe it was a foreigner?

The graffiti has been removed by authorities given they are said to act quickly in cases of 'graffiti or inscriptions with extreme political content'.
