Hungarian Nominated for Oscar, for Her Role in Film Shot Almost Entirely in Hungary
Set decorator Zsuzsa Mihalek was nominated on Tuesday for an Oscar in the best production design category for her work on the movie Poor Things.

The film starring Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos was almost entirely shot in Hungary.

The Oscar awards ceremony will be held in Hollywood on March 10.

Poor Things was filmed at Origo Studios in Budapest, and has been nominated in eleven Oscar categories in 2024, including Best Picture.

Poor Things
