Trade Surplus Reaches Euro 1.233 Billion in Hungary
Hungary had a EUR 1.233bn trade surplus in September, a first reading of data released by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Tuesday shows.

Exports fell 5.0pc year-on-year to EUR 12.330bn. Imports dropped 4.0pc to EUR 11.097bn.

Trade with other European Union member states accounted for 75pc of Hungary's exports and 71pc of its imports during the month.

For the period January-September, Hungary had a trade surplus of EUR 9.613bn. Exports fell 4.5pc to EUR 108.213bn and imports declined 7.5pc to EUR 98.600bn.
