YSK Revenue in Hungary Climbs as Customer Numbers Rise
Danish home furnishings retailer JYSK increased its revenue in Hungary by 12.7% to HUF 100.3 billion in its 2025/2026 business year, with the growth covering both its physical stores and online sales.

The company also reported a 6.1% increase in customer numbers in Hungary, including customers shopping through its online channels.

The stronger sales performance was accompanied by continued expansion of JYSK's Hungarian store network. During the business year, the retailer opened four new stores, expanded two existing locations and upgraded a further ten stores.

JYSK now operates 105 stores in Hungary and employs more than 1,400 people across the country. Its Hungarian operations are supported by a regional distribution centre, which supplies stores and online orders in seven countries.

The distribution centre forms part of JYSK's wider regional logistics network, supporting the company's growing combination of physical retail and online sales. The increase in Hungarian customer numbers reported for the latest business year reflects growth across both channels.

The expansion and refurbishment programme also means that a significant part of JYSK's Hungarian store network has been developed or modernised during the year, alongside the addition of new locations.

With more than 100 stores and a workforce exceeding 1,400, JYSK has established a substantial retail and logistics presence in Hungary. The latest revenue figures indicate that the company continued to expand its business in the country during the 2025/2026 financial year.
