Magyar Telekom Board to Propose Record HUF 91 Billion Dividend Payment
The board of Magyar Telekom will propose record high dividend payment of HUF 90.9bn and shareholder remuneration of a share buyback of up to HUF 39.1bn on the results of the year 2024 to the general meeting in April, CEO Tibor Rekasi said.

The CEO noted that data traffic rose 19pc on the mobile network and 23pc on the fixed-line network, and average data usage per customer increased to 13.2 gigabytes from 11.7 gigabytes.

Magyar Telekom spent over HUF 300bn on network development in the past five years.

CFO Daria Dodonova said Magyar Telekom projects 1-3pc revenue growth and a 12-15pc increase in EBITDA after leases.

It was also announced that Andre Lenz will be the new CFO from March.
