E-Till & E-Receipt Apps Rolled Out by Tax Authority in Hungary
The National Economy Ministry on Wednesday announced the launch of applications by the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) that function as a till and issue receipts for purchases.

The apps - NAV ePenztargep and NAV eNyugta -- may be used by businesses on a voluntary basis from July 1.

Available free of charge from Apple's App Store and Google Play, they are expected to put a HUF 10bn-20bn dent in the grey economy, while also benefiting consumers, the ministry said.
