Boldogkisfalud Festival in Hungary to Feature International Acts & Local Arts this Summer
Music, theater, literature and fine arts at the Boldogkisfalud Festival Music, theater, literature, and fine arts come together at the Boldogkisfalud Festival, which will be held for the fifth time between July 3 and 6 in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County.

The festival's music program will feature performances by The Last Internationale, an American band that has previously performed as the opening act for Guns 'N' Roses, Kiss and Deep Purple.

Al Jawala from Freiburg will be visiting the festival with "music rich in Balkan-brass-afrobeat and hip-hop elements" , while the Hungarian pop music scene will also be represented at the event. Bohemian Betyars, Róbert Bérczesi, László Kollár-Klemencz, Zoli Beck and Sorbonne Sexual will also perform, among others.

The organisers are also preparing theatrical productions: actors Anna Mészöly and Zoltán Simon will bring two performances to the event, and the audience can also participate in podium discussions with, among others, Alexandra Borbély and Emma Baranyi.

Orsolya Karafiáth and László Kollár-Klemencz will be guests of the festival. In addition to the literary programs, there will also be a series of fine art exhibitions this year, where the public can see the works of young artists as well as established artists at several locations.

This year's theme of the Art Control segment is From Anatolia to the Danube. In addition to works by artists from Vác and Miskolc, created in various techniques and styles, visitors to the festival can also encounter works of traditional and modern Turkish fine art.

In addition to the musical and literary programs, the organizers also place great emphasis on gastronomy: in addition to items from 10-15 wineries, the event will also feature beer specialties from Tokaj and coffee specialties from Tarcal's Ösvény Projekt.

In addition, there will be wine tastings on the Bodrog by boat, wine-food pairings, beer tastings and distillery tours.

The festival will also feature walking, canoeing and cycling tours, and the organizers will also be holding sports competitions. This year, competitors can enter two running events.

The organisers are also preparing tent sites at Öreg Tölgy in the heart of the village, next to the fine arts exhibitions and the sports event.

There will also be a sports and BMX track, as well as a bicycle rental.

The detailed program of the festival can be viewed on the Boldogkisfalud Feszt website here.
