Healing Power: Soul to Soul Festival in Veszprém at End of April

The program will begin on April 22, when the Petőfi Theater troupe will perform Tamás Bolba, Vajk Szente, and Attila Galambos' musical comedy titled Group Therapy, directed by Péter Forgács, in the evening. After the performance, the audience is invited to a discussion with the creators.
On the zero day of the festival, the evening of April 24, Topolcsányi's mystery play Laura Magdi will be premiered at the Grand Theatre, directed by Pál Oberfrank.
The one-act play, which tells the story of Mária Magdolna Bódi, who was martyred in Litér near Veszprém on March 23, 1945, will be seen by the audience two days before the beatification in Veszprém.
On the first day of the festival, in the morning, inmates will perform the work "Zeal for Good" in a closed-door performance in the ballroom of the Veszprém Police Department, which was staged under the professional direction of pianist Andrea Várnagy.
The Soul-Opening Ceremony will be held in the afternoon on the square in front of the theater.
The Veszprém Petőfi Theater's actress Teodóra Szederjesi will sing on horseback, then wheelchair dance champion Ágnes Rita Pazzagli, who is paralyzed from the waist down as a result of polio, will perform tango with her able-bodied partner, and members of the theater therapy company Teatroterapia Lubelska, arriving from Poland, will also perform before the audience.
In the evening, the audience can see Liliom Production's musical comedy Öreglányok at the Petőfi Theatre in Veszprém. The performance was directed by Rita Tallós and stars Marika Oszvald, Kriszta Kováts, Andrea Sztárek and Annamária Bede-Fazekas. After the performance, the audience will be invited to a discussion in the theatre's foyer.
The next day, visitors can see Ágnes Bálint's fairy tale play Frakk, the Terror of Cats, directed by Pál Oberfrank. Afterwards, in the foyer of the theatre, animal trainer Orsolya Kriz and her dogs will introduce themselves to the audience as part of the program Teach with Love, Encourage with Rewards! - Animals in the Circus World.
As part of the program "Free with Poems", the audience can meet Levente Asztalos, an autistic man from Eger, who has become famous for knowing hundreds of poems by heart.
In the evening, Tetroterapia's production "Confession Engraved in Lubelska's Wood" will be staged at the Grand Theatre, and at the Latinovits-Bujtor Theatre, viewers can see Laura Topolcsányi's work "Unicorn", directed by Csaba Tasnádi and performed by Kriszta Szorcsik.
On the closing day of the festival, the audience can see Ádám Nagy's film Reality Filter at the Petőfi NézőPont, singer Viktor Király and dancer Edina Csík talk about their struggle with alcoholism under the title There is a Way Out!, followed by Samuel Benchetrit's tragicomedy Vigaszfutam, directed by Csaba Tasnádi, with István Kovács and Csaba Kőrösi in the lead roles.
The festival's closing program will be Villy Russel's lyrical comedy Shirley Valentine, performed by Éva Vándor.
