Artisán Design Fair, Lurdy House Budapest, 24 October

For shoppers looking for something different from the usual chain-store selection, this returning fair offers an opportunity to find one-off pieces and handmade gifts while supporting local designers and creators.

The annual Artisán Design and Craft Fair will again bring together independent makers, designers and small creative brands, with visitors able to browse handmade jewellery, bags and accessories, fashion items, home décor and other individually crafted products.

Admission is free, and a key part of the event is the opportunity to meet the makers behind the products. 

Participating creators will be presenting their own work and talking with visitors about their designs, materials and creative processes, giving shoppers a chance to discover the stories behind individual pieces rather than simply seeing them on a shop shelf.

Timing:
The fair will run from 10:00 to 18:00.
