Hungarian Astronomers to Work With World's Largest Telescope in Chile

Hungarian astronomers will participate in research with the largest astronomical telescope in the world, at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile, which is set to open at the end of this year, the HUN-REN Research Centre For Astronomy and Earth Sciences said on Tuesday.

Victims of "Google Fraud" to Receive Compensation from MBH Bank in Hungary

MBH Bank on Thursday said it will pay compensation equaling 70pc of the damages to customers who fell victim to a Google-fraud-type phishing attack between March 15 and May 31, 2025, even though the problem was not the vulnerability of banking systems, but sensitive personal and banking data obtained from bank clients and fake banking pages advertised in Google search.
